Not So Scary Halloween Movies To Watch In October
October is honestly the best month of the year. The weather is cooling down but is still pretty nice. The leaves are changing color. You can get pumpkin flavoured ANYTHING! And of course, the spooky Halloween movie selection is fantastic!!
I personally don’t like scary movies that much. Used to love them but now, I just can’t handle the anxiety lol. So, I like to watch more family friendly, funny, cute, and spooky movies that you can enjoy with a hot chocolate by the fire. It’s the cozy vibes for me!
I have a fall tradition in my household (and by household I mean mostly myself lol) where leading up to Halloween certain movies are watched. I generally pick a few faves and I watch them every year. Honestly, I never get sick of them, they are always enjoyable, and surprisingly even though most of them are kids movies I still laugh along with the jokes and just love them.
So let’s get this list going. Broken down into categories and in no particular order…. Here are the MUST WATCH Halloween movies for October:
- Hocus Pocus + Hocus Pocus 2!!
- The Addams Family
