Okay so what is a life admin day? It's a day where you focus on your never ending to do list + actually get shit done. 
It could be things around the house, errands, bookkeeping, emails, appointments... or all of the above! 
I love planning a life admin day for every month or so. I keep a long master to do list and when my life admin day comes up I organize + prioritize the list to get as much done as possible. 
Remember to SCHEDULE the day into your calendar so you have no excuses for not doing. Pro tip: call in sick to work one day and treat yourself to a productive personal day... you didn't hear it from me πŸ˜‰

Do you ever have life admin days??
Froze my butt of in the vodka ice room this weeken Froze my butt of in the vodka ice room this weekend 🧊 
Had a great time in Whistler with my friend for her bachelorette party!!! 
We went to the Scandinave Spa, had dinner at 21 Steps, did shots in the vodka ice room, partied at Garfinkels, and so much more! 
Back to reality today but loved getting away for a couple days. A few things I need to do today:
β€’ blog work
β€’ answer emails
β€’ outreach for freelance writing
β€’ hitting the gym 
The trip really makes me want to prioritize more small weekend getaways though πŸ₯°

It's Wednesday which means we are half way through It's Wednesday which means we are half way through the week!!! 😌 hands up if that makes you happy πŸ™‹πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ

Have you ever heard of a self-care bucket list? πŸͺ£πŸ—’ 
I recently wrote a blog post about this (link in bio) + just love the concept! 
It's like a regular bucket list but with self-care activities that you really want to do one day! I created my own and shared it on the post. 
I found most of my bucket list items were more luxurious and expensive + I kind of struggled with that/didn't know if I should share it but then I decided that it's a bucket list for a reason!!! 
A few things that made my list:
β€’ stay at a fancy hotel in Hawaii + relax on the beach 
β€’ go to float therapy 
β€’ laser hair removal 
β€’ visit world famous libraries like Admont Abbey Library in Austria 
Remember that self-care is anything that makes you feel cared for so everyone's list might be different!

Guys this week was a lot πŸ™ƒ but instead of focusing on the negatives, I want to share some wins + positive things! 
β€’ wrote a blog post for a new client (she loved it)
β€’ updated my newsletter + feel so good about it (sign up in my bio btw)
β€’ spent time with friends 
β€’ noticed a small change in my body from my workouts! 
β€’ the sun has been shining

When your brain starts to get fuzzy, your back hurts from sitting, and you feel like you might fall asleep at your desk... get up + go outside! 
Don't just stand up and get water or talk to a co-worker. Literally walk your butt outside for some fresh air and natural light 🌞 
Why? Because...
β€’ fresh air energizes you
β€’ being outdoors can boost your mood
β€’ vitamin d can reduce sadness + anxiety 
β€’ it helps you get more movement in 
So, take a break today and get outside even for just a few minutes because your mind and body need it 😌
Is Monday your least favorite day of the week? πŸ™ƒ
Starting the week off in a negative mental place is not going to set you up for success. So, the solution is to make Mondays better!!

Super happy it's Friday! Feeling tired from the week and looking forward to the weekend. 
Tonight me and Nick are having a movie night + ice cream sundae bar 🍨 what better way to practice self care than fam time, a fun movie, and ice cream??

It's only been a few days of May (May the fourth be with you btw) and I'm already feeling so good about this month! 
I'm using my planner again daily which always keeps me on track. I hate that I stop using it but sometimes I need a break lol 
Me and the gym have been buddies so far πŸ‹β€β™€οΈ I've started using some weights and have been getting my walks in. I've even started running a bit!! 
Overall just having a great time over here. Writing lots on the blog, staying active, and planning some fun things for the month πŸ™ŒπŸ»

If you are a social media Influencer/content creator you probably already know how touchy social media can be (aka the algorithm πŸ‘€)
Growing a business (yes, influencing is a business) on social media and ONLY social media is a bit risky... here's why: 
β€’ you don't own your audience (ig, tiktok, twitter, etc. does)
β€’ the algorithm changes a lot 
β€’ your contents life span is short 
β€’ it's unfortunately pretty easy to lose your account 
Having a blog that runs along side your social media platforms allows you to have more security and actually opens up some extra doors! How? 
✨️ a blog can make extra passive income 
✨️ you own your blog + audience 
✨️ your content can live on for years on Google
✨️ way less issues with algorithms
✨️ you can connect on a different level due to the longer form content 
I truly believe it's a no brainer! Blogging is not dead and can be a huge asset for your biz! Worried you don't have time to write blog posts? You could always outsource (to a freelance writer like me) or you could just focus on shorter content (they don't need to be super long to do well!!)
