Let's wrap up November, shall we? ✨️🩷🙌🏻 
I would say this was a pretty good month for me. It was a month of personal growth, learning, patience, and happiness. 
There were some lessons to be learned and some trying times but I feel like I came out the other side stronger (which is all we can ask for in life). 
So here's my quick ig recap (the whole blog post will be up tomorrow):
• many cuddles with Luna 🐈
• Christmas nails complete 💅 
• made some homemade soups 🍅
• read 3 books (Iron Flame was my fav) 📖
• went to a hockey game 🏒 
• maintained 5k page views on the blog 💻

I love affirmations but I'll be honest, I didn't in the beginning. I thought they were kind of silly and not helpful... like half the time you don't even believe what you're saying.
But with time I realized how powerful our brains are 🧠 and the more I practiced the affirmations, the more I started to believe them.
So start your Monday with some positive affirmations and even if you don't fully believe it, just keep repeating it until you do 🥰

The new year is approaching but I still have goals The new year is approaching but I still have goals to achieve this year!!! How the heck am I making it work? 👇🏻
• setting weekly goals to keep making progress
• switching up my routines to make working on my goals easier now that it's darker outside
• making my goals a priority still
• habit tracking every day 
• thinking about my 2024 goals to get me excited and remain motivated!! 
The end of the year can be a hard time for goals. Its easy to give up and say you'll start fresh in January but why waste a whole month?! 
If you start (or continue) now think about how much further along you'll be the end of the year.
Stay on course my fellow goal getters 🤍🤍

There's a reason they say "mind over matter" and that's because your mindset is so powerful. 
If you want to live a healthy life and create lasting change its always good to work on your mindset along side changing your habits, nutrition, and fitness!

Getting started is always the hardest part!! If yo Getting started is always the hardest part!! If you can do one small thing (like make your bed) the rest flows a lot easier 🙌🏻 
Also, the more you show up for yourself the easier it gets even when you aren't feeling like it. Discipline and consistency take practice - it's not just something you have or don't have. 
So here's your Sunday reminder to get up and do the things! Don't let that little voice in your head stop you. Take charge of your mood, your thoughts, and your habits 🤍🤍
The end of the year is coming up and that means yo The end of the year is coming up and that means you might be thinking about new year resolutions!! 🎉 
However, you don't need to wait until January 1st to set new goals (you can do that anytime!!) 🙌🏻 
So whether you plan on doing a goal setting session this week or you want to wait until January, here are some tips for setting new goals! 
• get clear on what you want in life
• make big goals easier by breaking them into smaller goals 
• figure out a way to measure your progress
• look at what goals you've set before - what worked, what didn't, what have you achieved already, etc 
• create a visual to follow along with!

It always amazes me that there are still people ou It always amazes me that there are still people out there who fully believe we should be spending more time at work than at home. Or that being successful means being busy, never resting, and "doing it all" 
There is still so much imbalance in society which is why slow living really called out to me 😌
Slow living is just being more intentional, mindful, and slow 🐌  its about savoring the moment and enjoying life
I like it because:
• it gives me more time for hobbies 
• makes me focus on work life balance
• takes away pressure from the hustle + bustle
• changes my mindset on what's important
• allows me to be more present
Things I do to practice slow living:
🌱 cook more at home
🌱 put less on my to do list
🌱 limit screen time (I'm trying lol)
🌱 be more mindful with my movement
🌱 wake up earlier to have a peaceful morning
🌱 make time to do nothing

Being delusional is my new fav thing 💁🏼‍♀️ 
In all honesty, all big goals and dreams will seem a bit delusional to someone (maybe even to you) but that doesn't mean you shouldn't try to make it happen!
