Hi there! Tell us a little about yourself and how you got started with subconscious reprogramming.
Adreanna: Hi! I’m Adreanna Santos, a certified hypnotherapist and subconscious mind expert. I’ve been practicing personal development since I was 12 years old when my brother introduced me to the Law of Attraction. After intentionally manifesting an iPod when I was in 6th grade, I was hooked on the idea that we can use our minds to change our life. After breaking off my engagement a few years ago, I got interested in hypnosis. It helped me regain my self-worth and rebuild my confidence after the breakup in a way that wasn’t just surface-level. I then went on to study hypnotherapy so that I could specialize in subconscious reprogramming because of the incredible power it has to transform one’s life.
Can you tell us a little bit more about what subconscious reprogramming is?
Adreanna: Absolutely! Subconscious reprogramming is a powerful technique that allows us to tap into our subconscious mind and transform deeply held beliefs, habits, and behaviors. It works by accessing the part of our minds that holds our core values, attitudes, and beliefs—which are often unconscious—so that we can make lasting changes in our lives. By reprogramming our subconscious, we can create more positive outcomes and experiences.
What is your definition of the subconscious mind?
Adreanna: The subconscious mind is an area of the brain that stores out-of-awareness information and beliefs. It is often referred to as the ‘unconscious’ because it operates outside of our conscious awareness.
So how can subconscious reprogramming help us achieve our goals?
Adreanna: Well, to understand this, it’s important to know how our subconscious mind works.
Our subconscious mind is developed when we are 0-8 years old. It holds all of the memories, lessons, associations, and beliefs we picked up from the early years of our life. At 8 years old, we start to develop our critical mind. This acts as the protector of our subconscious, only letting certain ideas in and out. Then, we develop our conscious mind which holds our logic, reasoning, willpower, decision-making, and analysis.
Our subconscious mind controls 88% of what we do, while our conscious mind controls 12%.
What happens when we try to make changes in our life is that our subconscious comes into conflict with what we logically think is in our best interest in our conscious minds.
For example, overeating is a habit that is built upon associations in our subconscious. Maybe we saw a parent overeat, or food equaled comfort while growing up. Because of this, our subconscious mind has positive associations with food. So when we consciously try to lose weight, we find ourselves fighting the 88% with only the 12% of our minds.
Subconscious reprogramming can help us change this dynamic, making a shift in our subconscious by creating new associations and relationships. This way, the 88% of our subconscious mind and the 12% of our conscious mind are working together towards the things we want to achieve.
Is this why it’s hard for people to make lasting changes?
Adreanna: Yes! Making lasting changes in our lives can be difficult because our subconscious mind is hardwired with unconscious beliefs and patterns that we’ve picked up throughout our life. So even when we want to change, these beliefs and patterns can act as roadblocks preventing us from making the changes we want to make. It’s important to recognize these roadblocks and address them directly by reprogramming the subconscious mind. With consistent effort, we can reprogram our subconscious mind and make meaningful, lasting changes in our lives.

What are the benefits of subconscious reprogramming?
Adreanna: Subconscious reprogramming offers many benefits, including increased self-confidence, improved decision-making skills, better mental clarity, enhanced creativity and problem-solving skills, and improved mental and emotional health. It can also help us to break free from limiting beliefs and negative patterns of thought or behavior that are holding us back in life.
Subconscious reprogramming can also help to reduce stress and anxiety, improve relationships, increase self-esteem, and lead to greater overall happiness. It can also help us to become more mindful and aware of our thoughts and feelings, giving us greater control over our behavior. Finally, it can help to create positive habits that will support us in achieving our goals and manifesting the life that we want to live.
How can someone access their subconscious mind?
Adreanna: Accessing the subconscious mind is done through a process called hypnosis or trance. It is a mental state in which the individual can focus and concentrate their attention on something without all the other thoughts, emotions, and sensory input that usually distract us.
Through hypnosis, our critical mind that protects the subconscious mind is quieted which allows direct access into the subconscious mind. Because of this, we’re able to communicate directly to the subconscious without the critical mind analyzing or judging what’s going in. This is important because if you’re trying to change a habit, for example, your critical mind will tell you things like “this is too hard” or “this is impossible”. But when the critical mind is silenced, we’re able to give our subconscious mind the positive suggestions we need without all of the extra noise.
What techniques do you use for subconscious reprogramming?
Adreanna: I use a combination of different techniques, including hypnotherapy, Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), Mindfulness, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), Therapeutic Imagery, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). These techniques are all effective in helping to reprogram the subconscious mind and create positive changes in our lives.
What kind of lasting results can one expect from subconscious reprogramming?
Adreanna: The results of subconscious reprogramming can be long-lasting and profound. It can help us to identify, address, and resolve the underlying issues that are causing us distress or preventing us from achieving our goals. By addressing these issues at the root level, we can make lasting changes in our lives that will have a positive impact on our overall well-being.
Additionally, regular practice of subconscious reprogramming can help us to cultivate healthier habits and behaviors so that we can continue to experience positive results in the long term.
In your experience, what are some common misconceptions about subconscious reprogramming?
Adreanna: One of the most common misconceptions about subconscious reprogramming is that it can be used as a quick fix for our problems. While it is an effective tool for creating lasting changes, it isn’t a magic wand and won’t instantly solve all of our issues. It takes time and effort to reprogram the subconscious mind, and work needs to be done in the conscious world too. For example, if we’re working on weight loss together, subconscious reprogramming will make it easier for you to choose healthy foods and exercise, however, if you continue to make the decision to eat sweets, then you won’t lose the weight.
Aside from that, there are so many misconceptions about hypnosis! It’s not what you see on the stage, you won’t be forced out of your chair or to cluck like a chicken. Hypnosis is actually one of the oldest self-improvement techniques, dating back to 5,000 years ago, and can improve your life in countless ways.
What is the most rewarding part of your work as a hypnotherapist and subconscious mind expert?
Adreanna: The most rewarding part of my work is helping people to break through barriers, identify and address underlying issues, and make positive changes in their lives. Seeing how these changes can positively impact someone’s well-being, relationships, and overall quality of life is an incredibly fulfilling experience.
I see all of my clients’ situations like a puzzle. Everyone has the ability to accomplish the things that they want, it’s just that they have a few pieces of their puzzle missing. I get such fulfillment helping clients access their inner resources to complete their puzzle.
It’s amazing to see how powerful the mind is when we put in the effort to reprogram it and make meaningful, lasting changes. It’s truly an honor to be able to help people unlock their own potential and achieve a greater sense of peace, purpose, and joy in life.
What do you believe is the greatest benefit of engaging in this type of self-improvement work?
Adreanna: I truly feel like subconscious reprogramming is the missing piece in self-improvement work. So many of us are consciously trying to change our lives, but hitting roadblocks because our subconscious mind has a different life script programmed into it. It doesn’t matter how much we do to consciously change, if our subconscious mind has different beliefs, values, visions, and meanings, then we’ll always hit resistance and self-sabotage while trying to achieve our goals.
Subconscious reprogramming is the way around this. It gets to the root of the problem so that you can rewrite it based on what you want to achieve, and it gives us the ability to automate the thoughts, beliefs, and actions we need to work toward our goals easily and effortlessly.
Engaging in this type of self-improvement work has the potential to unlock our true potential and allow us to experience more joy, abundance, and success in life. It also helps us become more aware of our thought patterns and behavior so that we can make conscious choices that empower us instead of limit us.
How can people start tapping into their subconscious mind?
Adreanna: The only way to access the subconscious mind is through hypnosis. I offer a free Peace Maximizer Hypnosis download for people who want to start to access their subconscious mind. It’s a free 20-minute hypnosis recording specially designed to help you feel calm and relaxed, and to experience a deep sense of inner peace. It can be a great way to regulate your nervous system, reduce stress and anxiety, and it can also be a great way to improve your overall well-being.
What advice would you give to someone who is looking to start subconscious reprogramming?
Adreanna: My advice would be to start by identifying the areas of your life that you want to improve or change, such as relationships, health, career, or finances. Once you’ve identified these areas, start to focus on the positive changes that you want to make and find ways to incorporate those changes into your life. This can be done through daily affirmations, visualizations, meditation, journaling, or other mind-body practices. Additionally, seeking out professional help can be a great way to get started on your subconscious reprogramming journey because sometimes it’s hard for us to identify our own blocks in our life.
Are there any tips or techniques that you offer your clients for mastering subconscious reprogramming?
Adreanna: I teach all of my clients self-hypnosis so that they can continue to reprogram outside of our sessions together. This is a great way to practice the techniques we discuss in our sessions and continue making progress even when I’m not there. Additionally, I give my clients homework to do outside of our sessions to further their progress.
I encourage my clients to incorporate daily mindfulness practices such as meditation, journaling, visualizations, or affirmations into their lives, and I teach them how to utilize these practices in a way that the subconscious mind understands. These practices can help bring awareness to any unhelpful patterns that may be holding them back and allow for lasting results.
How can someone make the most of their free consultation with you?
Adreanna: I think the best thing people can do is to come prepared so we can make use of our time together. During the free consultation, I like to discuss their goals, challenges, and what I can do to help them achieve success in their subconscious reprogramming journey.
It’s also helpful if they have done some self-reflection ahead of time so we can use that as a starting point. This will allow us to dive right into crafting an action plan that will help them achieve their goals. The ultimate goal of the free consultation is to provide my clients with valuable insights and guidance that will empower them to take the necessary steps toward making lasting, positive changes in their life. I’m always here to listen and offer support as they travel on their journey of self-discovery and transformation.
Where can people find more information about your work and the services you offer?
